New Market - Juanita Pearl LIDESTER, 80, died in the emergency room of Culver Union Hospital, Crawfordsville, at 4:59 p.m. Monday. Mrs. Lidester a former resident of Wingate moved to New Market in 1975. She had worked as a cook at Coal Creek School and was a member of Center CHristian church. She attended school in Fountain and Tippecanoe counties. She was born March 16, 1908 to Samuel Milton and Florence Evans Crowder in Fountain County. She married Archie D. Lidester on August 18, 1929. He died Sept 13, 1965. Surviving are 3 sons: Bill, Jack and Larry; one sister, Mrs. Ernest (Irene) Rayphole; 9 grandchildren and six greats. A son, Richard died 1961. Six brothers and sisters preceded her in death. Funeral services are scheduled for 11 a.m. Thursday in Thomas Funeral Home, Waynetown with Rev. Brazle officiating. Burial in Waynetown Masonic Cemetery. Friends may call 4-8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. - kbz
